Stop-Motion Animation of Water Droplets on a CD

This video clip is 312 individual frames. Each frame is a separate photograph of a different set of beads of water on a CD. Between each frame, the previous arrangement is dispensed with, and new droplets are carefully sized and precisely positioned. The clip took about four hours to film. No computer graphics were used.
